The General Terms and Conditions relevant to all users of The Markitt outlined below, are enforced to provide provisions for fair arrangements for all parties using the The Markitt service. The Markitt is referred to by name, and as we/us throughout these conditions. Sellers have been referred to as ‘you’ being the seller or potential seller through the The Markitt service

TERMS OF SERVICE (FOR ALL USERS)

The Markitt is an online only platform which provides access to buying and selling new and pre-owned designer brands and labels. It also provides a service as a selling platform for consumers. By using this website for buying or selling, you agree to and understand the terms and conditions set out. These Terms & Conditions can be updated at anytime and are subject to additional terms when required. The Terms of Service are for all users of this site, and also include the Privacy Policy and Seller T&Cs that are available.

DESIGNER BRANDS/LABELS

The products available on The Markitt are independent of the brands identified. The brands sold are not at all affiliated with The Markitt and do not assume any responsibility for purchases made through the site. Aside from this, The Markitt are unified and cooperative in relation to seeking fake or counterfeit items including providing information on any person/s involved.

PRICING OF ITEMS

As a user of The Markitt platform, you acknowledge that we publish the sellers initial desired sale price of each item and sellers are advised to price based on the following factors but not limited to: 

1. Age of item 
2. Relevance eg. current season, last season etc 
3. Quality (determined either by sellers warranty eg. brand new/ worn once/ any noted defects or by Who Wears What if the seller has chosen for WWW to sell in their behalf therefore being able to physically see the item for sale). 
4. Original purchase price 
5. Current market factors

SIZING

The Markitt will make every effort to include a sizing chart/specs where possible. Sizing is based on the measurement guides provided by each brand where provided. Sellers may also include a brief recommendation eg. small size 8, large size 8 however these are of the opinion of the seller and of The Markitt holds no responsibility. 

IMAGE PERMISSIONS

As a user of The Markitt, you acknowledge that by sending or tagging us in an image wearing or with a purchase from this site, we may use this material for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified / notified. The use of these photos include and are not limited to, social media platforms, newsletters and printed material.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

The items available on this site are provided ‘as is’ without warranty outside of the provided refund policy. Our refund policy protects you if in the case you are not satisfied with the sellers item description or believe that the item is at all considered ‘a fake’ please notify us immediately so we can take the appropriate actions and refund your purchase (notification to be within the 3 day duration from delivery date). 

The Markitt is not responsible or liable for the accuracy or reliability claimed by a seller using this platform however we provide extra measures to ensure you are less at risk and covered when using our platform. We have put necessary measures in place such as withholding sales funds from sellers until the dispute period has finished. As a user, you claim the responsibility to evaluate the products for sale that are advertised by independent sellers and any sales which includes minor defect details cannot be disputed if outlined clearly on the original listing. If you are not satisfied with the sellers item description or believe that the item is at all considered ‘a fake’ please notify us immediately so we can take the appropriate actions and refund your purchase (notification to be within the 3 day duration from delivery date).
